Software - Free Software for your daily use!
Welcome to the Software Corner, where you can find some very useful software for free download! The common thing about all the software available here is that it is useful for your day-to-day work, and it's free. Download it at the click of a button, use it, and help yourself! In fact I originally wrote all these softwares for my personal use, as and when I needed to get some job done. But eventually I thought I would make is available to others, so they can benefit from it too.

Vocab+ is a very useful English Vocabulary building software written for the UNIX domain. It is text based, but still supports colors and formatting, thus making it a unmatched experience to work with (it works on a normal Unix terminal which suppors graph based displays, and the ncurses library - this is supported by most terminals on modern Unixes, such as Linux). It is protected by the GNU General Public License for free use to everyone who is interested! Check it out, and I can assure you, you will not want to leave it once you get started!

AlbumReady is a utility software which can generate static Photo albums for display on websites. You simply have to copy all the photos that you want to be included in the generated album in a directory structure, and AlbumReady will automatically pick them up and generate static albums for your website. The advantage of static pages is that they load much faster and are search engine friendly too. In fact I wrote this software to generate Photos Galleries for this very site.

Newton is an remarkably useful software that helps you organize and maintain your planned tasks in a very easy and appealing interface. It is meant for UNIX users who love to use the keyboard for all their work, and hate to fiddle around with the mouse. In fact, without being a "GUI" appliation, it has all the appeals of a GUI application on a simple Unix XTerminal (which supports graph based displays, and the ncurses library - this is supported by most terminals on modern Unixes, such as Linux). This program is protected under the GNU General Public License, and can be freely distributed under the terms of the license.
